The Director of International Accounts will be responsible for leading and expanding the brand’s presence across key international retailers, with a primary focus on Sephora and other strategic partners. This highly visible role will oversee global sales performance, retail relationships, promotional planning, and market expansion strategies. The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical leader with deep experience in global beauty retail, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of growing high-performance brands in dynamic environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive and execute International account strategies in alignment with Patrick Ta’s brand vision and commercial goals, with a primary focus on Sephora and other key retail partners globally.
  • Establish successful new market “playbook” to launch and grow each new market entered.  Build ongoing local support for marketing and events and education.
  • Build, nurture, and elevate relationships with major global retailers. Regularly meet with Sephora and international retail teams to align on commercial plans, growth opportunities, and brand-building initiatives.
  • Own global retail sales and profitability targets. Monitor weekly/monthly sell-through performance, rankings, and productivity to drive data-informed decisions and adapt business strategy accordingly.
  • Create and present strategic business updates, financial recaps, and retail performance analyses to senior leadership. Deliver clear, actionable insights to drive growth and optimize investment.
  • Lead strategic negotiations with retailers to secure premium placement, incremental space, and high-impact marketing programs. Identify and develop new business opportunities in emerging markets and digital retail spaces.
  • Manage global retail promotional plans, including sampling initiatives, gift-with-purchase programs, and exclusive retailer sets. Ensure inventory availability and align cross-functional execution.
  • Partner closely with Planning and Supply Chain teams to ensure inventory health across all retail doors, minimizing out-of-stocks and maximizing availability during key campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Creative, and Operations to ensure consistent and elevated execution of the brand across all retail environments.
  • Analyze global beauty trends, competitor activity, consumer behavior, and pricing dynamics to inform growth strategies and identify whitespace opportunities.
  • Work with Marketing to develop planograms, retailer-specific assortments, and visual merchandising plans that reflect Patrick Ta’s brand identity and drive consumer engagement.
  • Partner with Field Sales and Education to ensure global accounts are trained and equipped to represent the brand effectively in stores.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in global or regional account management, sales, or business development within the prestige beauty industry.
  • Proven experience managing global accounts, specifically with Sephora (required).
  • Deep understanding of retailer strategy, operations, and marketing levers in global markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a brand’s global footprint, especially in emerging beauty markets.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience owning and delivering sales targets and P&L results.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and experience securing favorable retailer partnerships and promotional terms.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to turn data into insight and action.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
