We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Ecommerce to support and help drive our digital business. This role will contribute to day-to-day execution across our DTC channel and collaborate across teams to support growth and ensure a seamless customer experience.
This role is based in West Hollywood, California with a hybrid / flexible schedule. Remote candidates may be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES
eCommerce Strategy and Execution
- Partner with the Manager to execute ecommerce strategy across DTC and social commerce channels.
- Manage Shopify Plus updates end to end, ensuring product, launch, promo, and site changes are executed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain Shopify apps, integrations, and third party tools including reviews, search, loyalty, and personalization, troubleshooting issues and coordinating with vendors.
- Support and maintain the ecommerce programming calendar in partnership with brand and marketing, aligning offers, launches, and key moments across DTC, social commerce, and retailer programs.
- Collaborate with brand, creative, operations, CX, and paid media teams to support merchandising plans, promotions, sampling, and campaign execution.
- Support international ecommerce growth by partnering with external and internal teams to optimize site experience, assortments, and promotional execution for priority global markets.
- Brief and QA all site content updates for launches, seasonal moments, and promotions, ensuring accuracy across copy, assets, pricing, and messaging.
- Support visual merchandising updates across home, PLP, and PDP to improve conversion and AOV.
- Contribute to go to market briefs by outlining digital asset requirements, PDP content needs, and cross channel alignment.
- Build high converting PDPs including imagery, copy, upsells, cross sells, shade charts, and educational content modules.
- Conduct regular competitive research to identify assortment, promo, and content opportunities and share insights with ecommerce and marketing teams.
- Conduct recurring site audits and support UAT testing across desktop and mobile to validate launches, promos, and new features.
- Monitor live site performance daily, flag and resolve issues in partnership with dev and CX, and maintain a stable user experience.
- Analyze site behavior and funnel performance to identify conversion, AOV, and UX optimizations.
- Partner with Customer Service to manage escalations, improve workflows, and maintain a best in class customer experience.
- Support demand planning by tracking product and category performance and highlighting risks, upside, and replenishment needs for DTC and social commerce.
- Support promotional inventory forecasting in partnership with demand planning, ensuring sufficient stock for launches, promos, bundles, and sampling programs.
- Partner with an external agency to execute the social commerce strategy across TikTok Shop and other platforms, ensuring alignment with DTC goals and promotional plans.
- Build and maintain PDPs specific to social commerce platforms, including offer structures, creative, and compliance requirements.
- Set up and coordinate Live Shopping events with creators, ensuring assets, scripts, offers, samples, and product assortments are ready, and that CX and operations are aligned.
- Create and maintain bundles, exclusives, and promotional offers tailored to each social commerce channel, supporting traffic, conversion, and AOV goals.
- Pull performance analytics across PDPs, Lives, creators, and bundles to identify top performers, learnings, and next steps for programming.
- Maintain ecommerce trackers and calendars that cover site programming, launches, promos, and content updates, keeping stakeholders aligned on timelines and dependencies.
- Assist with weekly and monthly performance reporting, tracking key ecommerce KPIs such as traffic, conversion, AOV, revenue, and campaign results to inform business decisions.
- Deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis on acquisition channels, new launch performance, social commerce, and site tests in partnership with the Manager and analytics teams.
- 3-5 years of ecommerce experience, ideally in beauty or consumer goods.
- Excellent analytical skills and report building
- Thorough understanding of end-to-end ecommerce process
- Working knowledge of Shopify Plus, CMS tools, and Google Analytics.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and eager to take ownership of projects with guidance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
